I had a really good weekend with the family this Labor Day. The Storybook Family has a tradition of heading out to Tennessee over Labor Day, since lives out there and the Parental Units have a timeshare unit that they get for the whole first week of September. Dad’s been working for so long he gets six weeks of vacation a year, so he and Mom (who’s retired) take lovely vacations that they usually invite the Storybook Children along for. Most of the time, we can’t go, but we always make room in our schedules for Labor Day. This year was nicer than last year, inasmuch as this year I’m employed and don’t have to worry about selling a house or looking for work.
I’d say more, except has pretty much already captured the essence of the weekend’s festivities. Go see her post here.
